Thank you for making our tryouts a huge success. We have
completed rosters for our 18G, 16A and 2nd year 14U teams. We still
have openings on our 1st year 14U, 12U and 10U teams. (We may have select
openings on our older teams as well). If you are
interested in arranging an individual tryout, or to attend a practice,
please contact our coaches directly. We always welcome
players to practice with our teams and may be able to assist in finding
another team to play with.
Update 8/18/2010

We will not be holding general tryouts for our 16A and 18G teams this
next weekend. Both of those teams are nearly complete.
The 16A team still has openings for a quality pitcher and catcher.
The 18H team also has an opening for an accomplished pitcher.
Please contact the coaches directly to arrange an individual tryout.
We will hold genral tryouts for our 10U, 12U and 14U teams.
Update 8/3/2010 - We are pleased to announce
our coaching staff for our 16U team. Matt Wilcox and Stan
Kristianson will be head coach and manager for the new 16U team.
Joining them as assistant coaches will be Mike Watson and Rick
Rainville. Matt and Stan come to us from the Edmond
Stars fastpitch organization where they have coached for several years.
We are excited to have them join the organization.
David Hardy is
re-joining the NW Lady Sharks and will head up our 1st year 12U team.
David had coached within the Sharks organization for several years.
His experience and calm demeanor is perfectly suited for leading our 12U
team where he can focus on teaching these young ladies the fundamentals
of the game. We are glad to have him back in the club!
Our 16U Faist and 18G Aasness/Swan coaching staffs will be combining
to run an 18 Gold team.
Update 7/22/2010 - We are in the
process of completing interviews for our new 10U and 12U coaches.
We should be able to make a formal announcement about those teams very
soon. We are also considering adding a first-year 16U
team. Our 16U Faist and 18G Swan/Aasness teams will be
combining for the 2010-2011 season. This combined team will
be comprised of both 2nd year 16U players and a few 18U Seniors and will
play a Gold exposure schedule with the option to compete for a 16A
Nationals berth.
While we will hold an open tryout in August,
we would STRONGLY suggest that you contact the coaches directly and as
soon as possible if you have interest in playing for the Lady Sharks.
We will most likely fill many roster spots before open
tryouts.
